I hope the images here give you a feeling for the scope of my work. Nearly 30 years ago, my first book, “Her Book” was published by Harper & Row.
The monoprints in that book are about the intimacy and specialness of the everyday; a theme which has remained important to me.
Color, light, pattern and texture are all central to my images. Collage and mixed media used in conjunction with strong, simple line drawings.
I love the written word and the playful linking of text and pictures. I aim for humor and warmth.
My journey has taken me halfway around the world from New York to Melbourne. Please enjoy sharing some of the pictures I’ve made along the way.
